Description
Currently looking for 1 volunteer! Fattoria l'Arca is a certified organic farm located in the South of Italy, offering a retreat for guests looking to reconnect with nature and organically cultivated local products. If you are passionate about sustainable agriculture, animal care and rural life, and want a hands-on experience in a real working organic farm, this opportunity is for you. As a volunteer you will be involved in: organic gardening, cleaning areas of the animals, harvesting, support in the activities of the farmhouse, and help in the kitchen with products from the garden, and more! This is a physically active experience, starting early in the morning from 6 am, so we are looking for someone motivated, reliable and genuinely interested in farm life Volunteers will work 5 days per week, with 2 days off. The mobility starts on October 1st, 2026 and lasts until December 2026, with the possibility of extending further.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accomodation will be provided on site in a shared room with another volunteer. The venue has a set of rules that volunteers have to respect. Financial support will consist of a pocket money of 6 euros per day. Meals will be prepared and shared with the staff during the activities. The travel expenses will be reimbursed on the basis defined by the European Solidarity Corps program.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will be guided and supported throughout all project activities, and will have access to training opportunities in line with the Programme.
Participant profile
We are looking for a motivated volunteer who loves the idea of working in nature and with animals, and who is happy to embrace the early-morning rhythm of farm life. It's a hands-on, active experience, so we're hoping to find someone energetic, adaptable and ready to get involved with enthusiasm in the day-to-day work of the farm, as part of a small team. Volunteers must be resident in an ESC eligible country and available for the entire duration of the project, from October 1st, 2026 to December 2026 (with the possibility of extending further).
