Description
Creative Connections 3.0 offers volunteers the opportunity to work directly with children and young people in schools, youth centres and community spaces in Sofia. Volunteers will design and facilitate creative, educational and intercultural workshops; present Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps opportunities; support local festivals, campaigns and community events; and take part in environmental and urban improvement activities. They will create photos, videos and social media content to promote volunteering and share the projectโs results. Each volunteer will also have the opportunity to develop a personal initiative responding to a local need. No previous experience is required. We are looking for motivated, reliable and open-minded young people interested in youth work, creativity and intercultural learning. Volunteers receive mentoring, practical guidance, Bulgarian language lessons and support in developing their skills and ideas.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will stay in a fully equipped shared apartment in Sofia, with separate bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and common spaces. The accommodation is located in Lyulin, with convenient public transport connections to the city centre and activity venues. Utility costs are covered by the project. Food allowance - 5 EUR per day, Pocket money- 7 EUR per day. A monthly public transport card for Sofia will be provided.
