Description

This community centre is run by the ACCOORD, a popular education association providing educational, social, and cultural activities for local residents.

What will you do?

- Welcome and support the public in their activities

- Share your mobility experience with young people to inspire them to discover German culture

- Co-create and lead creative workshops alongside the team

- Develop actions and workshops inspired by Franco-German culture

- Assist to the activities of the charity shop

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

*Housing : The future volunteer will be provided with a room in a shared house alongside other volunteers (single or shared room, depending on the recruitment). The house is conveniently located near a supermarket and a bus stop, allowing quick access to the city centre.


*Food allowance and pocket money : As outlined in the information kit, the volunteer will receive €8 per day as pocket money and €9 per day for meals.


*Transport arrangements : A bicycle and a transport card for the public transport are also available for getting around the city

Training during the activity

The volunteer will take part in the integration activities organized by the Maison de l’Europe in Nantes (coordinating organisation) in the beginning of his/her volunteering, as well as two weeks of training organized by the National Agency (Erasmus+) covering intercultural communication, non-formal education, and European topics.


French classes for two months will also be provided.

We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and enthusiastic volunteer for whom interculturality, solidarity, and European citizenship are core values.


The ideal candidate is driven by social connection and community life, comfortable engaging with people of all ages — from children to seniors — and genuinely open to diverse life realities.
