Description
A 58 days ESC activity to involve citizens/residents of EU coutries in the work of our NGO, promoting education, equality, citizenship & inclusion while supporting our local community. By taking part in this project, volunteers will be involved in: - support EFM in local regional project happening in the season as well as daily office work; - Support EFM's daily work; - writing of articles, and dissemination of projects; - prepare and plan activities for school visits; - support the activities of YouthMaSter, a (non-formal education) seminar for polish schools; - preparing materials for promotion of EFM activities; - working with database; - supporting with logistics of different activities; - support the running of EFM's channels and social media. - support with the maintenance of the office and EFM headquarters (house, garden +backyard); - Preparing videos, short movies, and/or podcast about different topics; - support the NGO in events that may occur in the community.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers live in EFM's house, in a small village - Długopole Górne (15min from Bystrzyca Kłodzka). The house is at 1min distance from a bus stop and at 20min walk to the train station. Housing is in shared rooms, there are multiple bathrooms and a large equipped kitchen. The house has a laundry area w/ washing machines, reading corner, smart tv, ping-pong table, bikes & wi-fi. Outside there's a garden and backyard with bonfire, and 1 small football & basketball court. EFM covers thetransport costs connected to project activities. Volunteers receive food money & pocket money every 2 weeks.
Training during the activity
The volunteer will participate in an orientation training during the first days of the project, organized by EFM's team. Extra training will depend on the volunteer’s ideas and needs. If he/she/they need exceptional support to put an idea into action, within the project, it will be attempted to provide this training. General support is assured by the mentor assigned to the volunteer. ***In EFM volunteers learn by doing with the staff of the organisation.***

18 - 30 yo EU citizen or with official residence in a EU country or neighbour country.
