Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer through the European Solidarity Corps? Join us in Snagov, Romania, and become part of a dedicated team working to create positive change in the local community.
As part of this project, volunteers will:
- Organize and implement non-formal activities at the A4ACTION After School program for children aged 7 to 10 years, such as team-building exercises, personal development activities, arts & crafts, reading activities, English lessons, and more. Organize and implement workshops in local schools (middle/primary school and high schools), including cultural events, skills and soft skills development, civic engagement, eco-friendly practices etc.
- Design activity plans for every activity conducted at the A4ACTION Youth Center and in local schools
- Complete various administrative tasks
- Contribute to the development of the A4ACTION Virtual Youth Center.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to distance bands and ESC guidelines.
- Volunteers will receive pocket money and food money in line with ESC guidelines.
- Volunteers will stay in shared accommodation with other volunteers. The accommodation is conveniently located with easy access to public transportation and shops. It is fully equipped with modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, furniture, beds, cutlery etc.
- Volunteers will be covered by the Henner Insurance Plan throughout the volunteering period.
Training during the activity
- The volunteers will participate in workshops and training sessions covering various topics (non-formal education, facilitation, first aid training etc.) to support the effective execution of their activities.
- Additionally, volunteers will participate in On Arrival Training and Mid Term Evaluation hosted by the National Agency in Romania.

- Aged between 18 and 30 years old;
- Responsible and reliable;
- Communicative, friendly, and positive attitude;
- Interested in the theme of the project;
- Capable of preparing and leading activities;
- Resident of an EU country;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Motivated and ready to be actively involved in the local community.
