โ๏ธWhat Is This Training About?
Re:Body is a training experience for people who work with young people and want to bring more movement, theatre, body awareness and creativity into their work.
๐๏ธ How Erasmus+ youth projects create lasting change in local communities. The impact of Erasmus+ goes far beyond the individuals who participate. Local communities, host organisations, and even entire neighbourhoods are shaped by the projects that take place within them. This article explores the broader social impact of Erasmus+ youth exchanges โ from building intercultural understanding to empowering grassroots organisations โ and makes a compelling case for why these projects matter beyond the personal level. ๐ https://youthworkshub.org/3595/
โน๏ธ Description About The Opportunity
Have you ever experienced how movement, creativity or theatre can help people express things that are difficult to put into words? Have you ever wondered how youth work can become more inclusive, accessible and supportive for young people facing social, economic or personal challenges?
Re:Body is an Erasmus+ training course that brings together youth workers who want to explore the potential of movement and theatre-based methods in youth work.
Many young people face challenges such as social isolation, stress, anxiety, identity-related difficulties or the long-term effects of exclusion and discrimination. Traditional educational approaches do not always provide the tools or spaces needed to address these experiences. This project explores how movement, theatre and other embodied practices can create more welcoming, engaging and emotionally safe environments where young people can express themselves, build confidence and connect with others.
Throughout the training course, participants will explore psychoeducational approaches and practical methods that support psychosocial and emotional development. Through experiential activities, reflection and peer learning, youth workers will develop new tools to help young people strengthen resilience, improve communication, build empathy and manage everyday challenges.
Re:Body also responds to the growing challenge of digital overwhelm. By using embodied and offline learning methods, the project encourages participants to reconnect with physical expression, creativity and human interaction as a valuable complement to technology-based learning environments.
Beyond the training activities themselves, the project aims to strengthen connections between youth workers across Europe. Through collaboration, exchange of practices and peer support, participants will contribute to a growing community committed to inclusive education, embodied learning and the well-being of young people.
Together, we will explore how movement, theatre and creative expression can become powerful tools for building more inclusive, supportive and resilient communities.
