Description

Social Care Center "VIJA" 💙 is a welcoming community that provides care and support for children and young people with disabilities, including those who have been left without parental care or need assistance in developing independent living skills. As a volunteer, you will help create a warm, safe, and home-like environment where every person feels valued and included. Through your time, kindness, and creativity, you will support our clients in building confidence, developing everyday life skills, and becoming more actively involved in the community. You will have the opportunity to organize and take part in a variety of engaging activities, such as board games, sports, music therapy, arts and crafts, dog therapy, and outdoor walks and games. Working alongside our dedicated team, including occupational therapists and care staff, you will make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience, new friendships, and unforgettable memories.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

🏠 Accommodation: The volunteer will receive free accommodation for the entire duration of the project, with a private room in a shared apartment. 💶 Food & Pocket Money: Volunteers will receive a monthly allowance of approximately €280 to cover food and personal expenses. 🚌 Local Transportation: A monthly public transportation pass will be provided and fully covered by the project, making it easy to travel around the city.
