Description
SUPRA Football Association is a NGO based in Kwidzyn, Poland, created out of a passion for football and working with children and youth.
The association promotes physical activity, sport and healthy lifestyles.SUPRA organises regular football training sessions, matches, tournaments, sports camps and other activities for children and youth.
SUPRA is run by people with experience in physical education and sports training who want to share their passion for football and encourage young people to be active, develop their skills.
The volunteer will:
- Assist with regular football training for children and young people aged 7โ16
- Support coaches during training sessions and sports activities
- Help organise football games, matches and tournaments
- Participate in sports events and activities organised by SUPRA
- Help organise summer camps
- Prepare and take care of sports equipment
- Help prepare sports facilities before and after training
- When appropriate, help create photos and social media content
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We are renting 2 flats for our volunteers in Kwidzyn. Every house consists of 3-4 rooms shared by 2-3 volunteers. The kitchen and bathroom are always shared.
Every flat has an internet connection.
All the flats are equipped with:
- Bed covers (x1/room), blanket and pillow.
- Cleaning stuff (broom, mop, dustpan, etc.)
- Iron (x1/flat).
- Heating in every flat/room
- Kitchen pots, plates, silverware, and cooking tools (simple but enough for daily life).
- Oven and cooker,
- Refrigerator with freezer.
You have to care about your private towels and hygienic stuff like soap, shampoo, hairdryer etc
Training during the activity
Volunteers are provided with an induction training, workplace health and safety training, and Polish language lessons once a week
Participant profile
The applicant MUST be able to play football and MUST be willing and able to work with children and young people.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for football
- Can actively play football
- Enjoys spending time with children and teenagers
- Is responsible, patient and communicative
- Is energetic and willing to participate in sports activities
- Is comfortable working as part of a team
- Is motivated to learn and develop new skills
- Is willing to take part in both training sessions and organisational activities
Previous professional coaching experience is not required, but a good level of football skills and a genuine interest in working with children are essential.
The volunteer should be ready to actively participate in football activities rather than only observe them. The role is particularly suitable for someone who wants to combine volunteering with their passion for football and working with young people.
