Description

Frontignan la Peyrade is a town of 24,000 inhabitants, close to Montpellier and the Mediterranean Sea. We have 20 years' experience of hosting volunteers, with whom we are proud to share our culture and traditions. The effectiveness of these missions is linked to the fact that it is always the same main tutor who organises the different missions we offer. In addition to the main mission, which is to raise awareness of European citizenship among young and old alike through international mobility programmes, we offer the opportunity to work 2 days a week with partner organisations: 1 sports referent, cinema, solidarity association, school projects, social projects, inclusion, substainable project. Each volunteer will have the opportunity to carry out a personal project.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

We rent rooms in residences in Frontignan (flat for 2 people) and Sรจte (2 single rooms). Food package 300 euros per month. Pocket money package 8 euros per day. Package to cover your Internet and laundry costs, as well as a train package to enable you to travel easily to Montpellier (an active city for young people). We strive to put you in the best possible conditions to enjoy the best experience of your life.

Training during the activity

French course: you will receive a licence for the EU academy platform, for an assessment of your starting level, with lessons and a final evaluation. For approximately 3 months, you will follow intensive courses with our French teacher. The Erasmus national agency for youth organises 2 training sessions, one on your arrival and the other halfway through your course.

Participant profile

Volunteers are expected to inform and communicate with a young audience, hence the importance of being open to this exercise and used for these audiences. We prefer young people with strong interpersonal, autonomy and communication skills. We prefer to welcome young people who are motivated to learn French, with no obligation as to their starting level. All you need is the motivation to immerse yourself in our beautiful country.
