Description
This project aims to create a Volunteering Team that can help with the execution of an international event on youth work, youth participation and volunteering that will take place in Sardinia, Italy, in October 2025. The international youth work conference known as "Connessioni" will bring together around 150 young activists, youth leaders and youth workers from different countries in Europe for 5 days to discuss themes related to peace and security (which is the main focus of the event this year), develop projects, exchange best practices, strategies, ideas, cooperation and more. The volunteers will commit to their duties for 30 days to increase the value and the intercultural aspect of the event, and assist it with the planning, execution, and evaluation of the event. They will also support internal and external communication, logistics, information outreach, participant engagement, and facilitation of targeted activities.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The project, funded by European Commission's ESC, covers part of the travel costs (depending on the distance between the venue and the home country of the participant, following the rules of the programme), covers food, accommodation and, where relevant, local transports, and guarantees mentoring, a monthly pocket money and international medical insurance.

The volunteers will receive on-spot training delivered by the coordinating organization on the following topics: Non-formal education; ESC and volunteering programs; Cultural diversity and intercultural learning; Conflict Management; Sardinian and Italian culture; Information about the project; Youthpass and learning; Task-related specific competencies.
