Description
ESN Portugal is looking for a motivated Events Assistant for the fall semester of 2026, starting around the 15th of September until 22nd February . This role is designed to provide support to the Vice President for Development, focusing on the seamless execution of national events and the analytical follow-up that drives our network forward.
The volunteer will support the Vice President for Development in the following areas:
Assisting in the coordination of venues, transport, and scheduling for national events.
Liaising with local sections to ensure all event requirements are met.
Drafting comprehensive follow-up reports, analyzing participant feedback, and documenting according to network standarts.
Managing event registrations and internal communication flows regarding developmental projects.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Housing: ESN Portugal will provide accommodation. Each volunteer will have an individual bedroom in a shared house with other volunteers.
Stipend: A monthly stipend is provided to cover meals and local transportation.
Pocket Money: Additional pocket money will be provided for personal expenses.
Travel: All travel costs for your trip to Portugal and your eventual return home are fully covered.
Training during the activity
Training & Mentorship
You will be officially onboarded by the Director (Head of Secretariat) and receive direct supervision from the Board of ESN Portugal, specifically the Vice President for Development.
Participant profile
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.
A structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
Proactive problem-solver who can work in a team and manage independent projects.
Prior experience with the Erasmus Student Network is considered a significant plus.
