Description

Dynamo International is a youth service dedicated to individuals aged 13 to 25. Our primary goal is to provide support to young people in this age range, addressing the various questions and challenges they may face, whether in academics, family dynamics, or societal interactions. Additionally, our expertise lies in facilitating mobility and assisting them in realizing their projects in Belgium or abroad. This may involve organizing camps, youth exchanges, ESC, working holidays, and more. As a volunteer, your responsibilities will include participating in and coordinating weekly socio-cultural activities, organizing camps, and, potentially, facilitating youth exchanges within Belgium. You will also contribute to raising awareness to promote the association and its projects, actively engaging in the promotion of Dynamo International's initiatives through social media channels. Your creative input and innovative contributions to our activities will be highly encouraged and valued.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will leave in an apartment above our office with fellow volunteers. Your living include a private room, while the kitchen, bathroom, and living room will be communal spaces. At the beginning of each month, you will receive allowance for food and personal expenses. A public transport annual ticket will be provided. There may be instances where your volunteering responsibilities extend to unsociable hours or weekends. The role is 30h per week, and you will be entitled to your month leave. You should advise us of any medical conditions that might impact your ability to volunteer effectively.

Training during the activity

Arrival training and mid-programme training provided by the national agency

Your background includes previous experience in animating and engaging with youngsters. Proficiency in French is preferred, or you are driven and prepared to learn, acknowledging the potential challenges.
