Description
You will join a preschool managed by the City of Strasbourg.
This projects aims at supporting young children (around 3 years old) for several activities. Your main tasks will be to :
- Support children’s development and play activities
- Take part in the care given to children (meals, snacks)
- Supervision of children for their safety
- Help the team with the daily tasks
- Take part in teamwork: communicate in meetings and take part in decisions.
*Important* This is a long term project, lasting 10 to 12 months
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will be accommodated in an apartment belonging to the city of Strasbourg and will receive additionnal pocket money for the food fees. A subscription for the local transport services will also be provided.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will take part in two seminars organised be the french ESC Agency, and three sessions organized by VISA-AD. All travels and accomodations for those trainings are included

To be motivated to be alongside young children (toddlers) Able to live alone a basic level in French is a plus
