Jugendwerk è un'organizzazione giovanile senza scopo di lucro con sede a Stoccarda, in Germania, che si occupa di educazione non formale, progetti interculturali, campi e progetti per bambini e ragazzi, con l'obiettivo di supportare i giovani nel loro processo di sviluppo personale e di formazione. Le principali attività dell'organizzazione sono campi estivi per bambini e adolescenti, scambi giovanili internazionali, seminari per giovani e progetti locali sull'apprendimento interculturale. Come uno dei tre volontari ESC a Jugendwerk, sosterrai e svilupperai eventi interculturali come Active Culture e Spracheteria, aiuterai il team con compiti d'ufficio, creerai contenuti per i social media, fornirai supporto durante i campi giovanili e prenderai parte a seminari. A seconda dei tuoi interessi, inoltre, potrai decidere se aiutare a condurre un campo estivo o sviluppare un piccolo progetto in autonomia. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Jugendwerk ti fornirà un alloggio gratuito in una residenza studentesca a 2 minuti a piedi dalla sua sede, con cucina e bagno in comune e una camera arredata privata. La residenza è vicinissima al centro città (raggiungibile a piedi) e ben collegata con i mezzi pubblici. Inoltre, ti verrà dato il Deutschlandticket valido per i trasporti pubblici in tutta la Germania e l'accesso a una bicicletta per spostarsi in città, mentre il viaggio d'andata e ritorno verso la Germania ti sarà completamente rimborsato. Riceverai un'indennità mensile e una per il vitto secondo le linee guida dell'ESC.
Training during the activity
Avrai 3 momenti formativi ufficiali: una formazione prepartenza prima di lasciare l'Italia, una seconda formazione qualche settimana dopo l'inizio del tuo volontariato in Germania, e una terza formazione a circa metà del tuo volontariato. Avrai anche la possibilità di partecipare a uno dei corsi di formazione per animatori giovanili e ottenere la certificazione (JULEICA) per gestire campi estivi per bambini e ragazzi. Se sei interessato, potrai partecipare a molti altri seminari organizzati durante l'anno su diverse tematiche, così come a un corso di tedesco a seconda del tuo livello.

Il candidato perfetto è di mentalità aperta, affidabile e motivato, con una conoscenza di base del tedesco e/o intermedia dell'inglese, interessato all'apprendimento interculturale e al lavoro con i giovani. Dovrebbe apprezzare sia il lavoro autonomo che quello di squadra, poiché entrerà a far parte di un gruppo internazionale di volontari che condividono le responsabilità in ufficio. Vengono molto apprezzati l'iniziativa, l'impegno e la creatività in quanto i volontari vengono incoraggiati a contribuire con le proprie idee e progetti. Sono gradite competenze informatiche di base e l'utilizzo dei social media, nonché interesse per le mansioni d'ufficio, l'organizzazione di eventi e la comunicazione. Patente di guida valida (per auto con cambio manuale) e spirito d'iniziativa sono un grande vantaggio!
