The European Cancer Organisation is a not-for-profit federation of 40 healthcare professional organisations and 21 patient groups committed to reducing the burden of cancer. It brings together oncology professionals, survivors, patients, carers and civil society to shape and implement evidence-based policy and advocate for progress across the entire cancer care pathway. The organisation is actively involved in a high number of EU-funded research and policy implementation initiatives that encompass areas such as improving quality of life for survivors and patients, strengthening cancer screening and early detection, enhancing the training of oncology professionals and advancing collaborative cancer care networks, and it plays a key role in stakeholder engagement, patient involvement, policy translation of research findings, advocacy, communication and dissemination.

๐Ÿ“‹ Your Responsibilities

๐Ÿ“… Contribute to the effective coordination and delivery of EU-funded projects in which the organisation participates, being responsible for the monitoring of timelines and deliverables, ensuring smooth internal workflows, maintaining organised project records, and helping prepare materials such as agendas, presentations, reports and meeting minutes

๐Ÿค Act as a main point of contact for project partners, ensuring clear communication and the timely exchange of information

๐ŸŽช Play a role in the organisation of meetings and events, working closely with the Operations team to manage scheduling, logistics and follow-up

๐Ÿ“ Support the organisation's participation in new project proposals, from monitoring new calls to drafting elements of project applications, helping coordinate internal inputs and liaising with colleagues involved in drafting contributions

โœ… Who We're Looking For

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ A motivated and proactive professional eager to grow within the EU health policy funding landscape, highly organised, attentive to detail and comfortable managing multiple parallel tasks

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and to the point and maintain constructive relationships with diverse partners

๐Ÿ’ผ 1 to 2 years of prior professional experience in project management is required, with knowledge of EU funding programmes, particularly EU4Health and Horizon Europe, being an advantage
