Are you ready for an impactful volunteering experience in Germany? Our organization is looking for a motivated young volunteer to participate in a Short-Term European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Volunteering Project with East West East Germany e.V. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people at both local and international levels by fostering active participation, critical thinking, and social awareness. As a volunteer, you will become an integral part of the EWE team, assisting in the planning, preparation, and realization of both local and international youth initiatives. You will actively communicate and cooperate with youth groups across the East-West-East network, help organize local community events, and gain hands-on experience in youth work. This project offers a unique opportunity to develop professional skills, engage in creative social action, build international connections, and make youth voices heard in an inclusive, supportive environment.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation will be provided by the hosting organisation. Volunteers will receive food support and pocket money according to European Solidarity Corps regulations. Travel costs will be reimbursed within the approved ESC budget limits. Participants will be covered by Henner insurance during the activity period. Local transportation related to project activities will be organised by the hosting organisation when necessary.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will participate in orientation activities, mentoring sessions, intercultural learning workshops, team-building activities, and non-formal education methods throughout the project. Participants will receive continuous support from mentors and project coordinators. Learning outcomes will be reflected through the Youthpass process, helping volunteers identify and document the competences developed during the activity.
Participant profile
We are looking for a motivated young person from Türkiye aged between 18 and 30 who are interested in volunteering, intercultural learning, community engagement and personal development. Applicants should have a basic level of English communication, be open-minded, responsible and willing to actively participate in all project activities. Previous volunteering experience is not required. Priority may be given to young people with fewer opportunities, limited international experience or a strong motivation to contribute to local communities and social initiatives. Participants should be able to work in an international team, respect cultural diversity and represent their sending organisation and country responsibly throughout the activity.
