Lack of experience is often one of the biggest challenges young people face when looking for a job. At the same time, the labor market is constantly changing, with new professions emerging and new skills becoming increasingly important. For high school and university graduates, choosing a career path can be difficult, especially as it can shape their future opportunities. Career Boost Camp is a youth exchange project that helps young people develop the skills and confidence needed to find employment that matches their interests and abilities.

The project runs under the Youth@Work theme and it opens with a quote from Steve Jobs: "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it."

🎂 18 to 30 years old, with no age limit for group leaders, one per country

🗓️ Project Dates

📅 Arrival day: 8 August 2026

🛠️ Main activities: 9 to 15 August 2026

📅 Departure day: 16 August 2026

✈️ Transportation

🛫 Participants travel to Romania by plane, train or bus, and if flying, the nearest airport is Bucharest (OTP)

🚌 The meeting point is Bucharest, and from Bucharest airport you travel to the venue by bus, which takes around 5 hours

🌍 Eligible Countries

🇷🇴 Romania, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇺🇦 Ukraine, 🇲🇩 Moldova

📌 It is mandatory to be a resident of the partner countries.

💶 What Is Covered and Travel Reimbursement

Being selected for this course, all costs relevant to participation, including accommodation, travel and food, are covered. The costs of your travel are reimbursed from the project grant based on the documents you provide, so when you buy the ticket, ask for the invoice, and keep all tickets, boarding passes and receipts. The organisers reimburse the costs for which they get the official document needed for accounting.

Reimbursement budget limits:

🇺🇦 Ukraine: 275 €

🇲🇩 Moldova: 275 €

📝 Application and Selection

1️⃣ Fill in the application form carefully, since selection is based on your profile and your motivation

2️⃣ The best applications are invited to Zoom discussions, so check your email after you apply, including the spam folder, because you receive the invitation there

3️⃣ After you receive the final feedback, you have 3 days to buy the tickets and to confirm 100% your participation in the project, and if you do not do this, you lose your place and another participant replaces you
