Description
Il Centro di Tallinn per i bambini a rischio è un'organizzazione di assistenza sociale che offre aiuto professionale ai bambini abbandonati dai genitori o con problemi comportamentali o di tossicodipendenza. L'organizzazione gestisce due centri a Tallinn: il Centro di accoglienza di Lilleküla e il Centro di accoglienza di Männi. I bambini vengono ospitati in questi due centri per diverse ragioni, le più comuni sono il vagabondaggio, la negligenza familiare, la violenza domestica, l'alcolismo o la tossicodipendenza dei genitori, la disoccupazione dei genitori o la perdita della casa a causa della povertà familiare. Come volontario, sarai chiamato a prenderti cura dei bambini e dei ragazzi, giocando con loro e supportando il personale, oltre che a organizzare attività educative aggiuntive nei centri di accoglienza (come insegnare l'italiano e presentare la tua cultura attraverso giochi, canzoni e attività fisica) e gite (come visite culturali, escursioni, passeggiate e picnic).
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Ti verrà fornito un alloggio adeguato, vicino al luogo di svolgimento del volontariato: in genere si tratta d'un appartamento condiviso o d'un ostello, arredati con le attrezzature di base. La sistemazione può essere singola o condivisa a seconda della disponibilità, con cucina e bagno in comune. Riceverai un contributo di 5 euro al giorno per le spese personali e altri 200 euro al mese per il vitto. Il viaggio dall'Italia all'Estonia e ritorno sarà completamente rimborsato, così come i trasporti locali relativi alle attività saranno interamente sostenuti dall'organizzazione d'accoglienza.
Training during the activity
Parteciperai a 3 sessioni di formazione ufficiali: una prima della partenza dall'Italia, una seconda qualche settimana dopo il tuo arrivo in Estonia e una terza verso la fine del volontariato. Questa è una preziosa esperienza sul campo del lavoro sociale e giovanile e nella gestione d'attività educative formali e informali. Lavorerai, infatti, oltre che con i bambini, anche a stretto contatto con il personale, costituito da responsabile del centro, assistenti sociali e infermieri. In sintesi, questo volontariato sarà fonte di grande crescita professionale e personale.
Participant profile
Cerchiamo un volontario con la passione per il lavoro con bambini e ragazzi, dotato di pazienza e in grado di comprendere e accettare che spesso provengono da contesti familiari e sociali difficili. Il volontario ideale dovrebbe inoltre essere amichevole e di mentalità aperta, proattivo, giocoso, ottimista e responsabile. La conoscenza del russo è un grande vantaggio, poiché è la lingua madre di molti bambini ospitati nella struttura. Non è richiesta esperienza lavorativa, ma solo una forte passione per l'educazione. Sono benvenute tutte le competenze artistiche, pedagogiche, musicali o atletiche, in quanto possono essere integrate nelle attività educative e ricreative.
