" L'Enfance de l'Art " est une association dont l'objectif est d'aider les parents à s'impliquer davantage dans l'éducation de leurs enfants. L'association a mis en place des structures d'accueil pour enfants ou personnes en perte d'autonomie, des ateliers de loisirs, des crèches, des écoles. L'association utilise des pédagogies alternatives (Steiner & Loczy). La pédagogie Loczy respecte l'enfant dans sa globalité et développe son autonomie, ce qui nécessite une capacité d'observation pour répondre à ses besoins réels au bon moment. La pédagogie Steiner apporte plus de contact avec la nature et de créativité, ce qui nécessite de travailler à l'extérieur tous les jours. Les 5 volontaires travailleront dans une crèche (0-3 ans) ou un jardin d'enfants (3-7 ans). Avec le soutien de l'équipe, les volontaires mèneront différents types d'activités avec les enfants : peinture, dessin, contes de fées et comptines, cuisine, jeux de plein air, travaux manuels, promenades dans les bois.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Les volontaires vivront dans une maison partagée à Tournai. Chaque volontaire aura sa propre chambre et partagera la cuisine et la salle de bain avec les autres volontaires. La crèche, située à Tournai, est facilement accessible à pied. Les jardins d'enfants se trouvent à Templeuve, un village situé à 15 minutes de Tournai en bus ou en voiture. Un covoiturage sera organisé tous les jours pour les volontaires entre Tournai et Templeuve.
Training during the activity
Une journée de formation informelle sera organisée fin août pour tous les volontaires afin de présenter les pédagogies alternatives utilisées sur le projet (notamment la pédagogie Steiner). Le volontaire aura ensuite l'occasion, au cours de son stage, d'approfondir ce sujet grâce à la réunion hebdomadaire et aux échanges avec les membres de la structure d'accueil. Comme les autres volontaires du CES, il/elle participera aux séminaires d'arrivée et de mi-parcours organisés par l'Agence nationale.
Participant profile
Dans l'approche Steiner, les enfants commencent leur apprentissage par l'imitation, plutôt que par l'instruction. Les gestes, la parole et les mouvements des adultes font l'objet d'une grande attention. Il est important d'être prêt à travailler avec des enfants de moins de 7 ans et d'avoir les qualités requises (doux, patient, serviable, attentif, responsable, créatif, empathique, flexible). Vous ne devez pas avoir peur de vivre une routine quotidienne répétitive et de passer du temps à l'extérieur par tous les temps. La connaissance du français est un atout.
