L'organizzazione d'accoglienza è un osservatorio permanente e una struttura di mediazione culturale per indagare, conservare, interpretare, diffondere e valorizzare le testimonianze materiali e immateriali più rilevanti della storia, del patrimonio, del territorio, della memoria e dell'identità della comunità locale e regionale nella sua interazione con il mondo. I contenuti principali del tuo volontariato saranno la riqualificazione del patrimonio industriale e culturale di Portimão, il rafforzamento della relazione tra la città e il fiume Arade su cui s'affaccia, il miglioramento dell'interpretazione dell'evoluzione storica, territoriale e sociale della comunità locale e l'attrazione di nuovo pubblico sviluppando un'offerta culturale di qualità. L'obiettivo ultimo del progetto è la creazione d'un coinvolgimento efficace e sostenibile dei giovani nei processi decisionali delle autorità locali attraverso lo sviluppo di strategie e la costruzione di strutture e relazioni di fiducia.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Alloggerai in una casa completa di tutto, compreso internet, con tre stanze, due doppie e una singola, che verranno assegnate per sorteggio all'arrivo di tutti i volontari. Ogni mese riceverai un'indennità di 310 euro per le tue spese alimentari e quelle personali. Il viaggio dall'Italia al Portogallo e ritorno ti sarà completamente rimborsato, così come i trasporti locali connessi al progetto. È prevista anche un'assicurazione convenzionata con l'Unione Europea che ti coprirà da ogni rischio. Svolgere il tuo volontariato in collaborazione con il Comune di Portimão t'offrirà altri vantaggi.
Training during the activity
Parteciperai a 3 sessioni di formazione ufficiali: una prima di lasciare l'Italia, una seconda poche settimane dopo il tuo arrivo in Portogallo e una terza dopo la metà del tuo volontariato. Nei tuoi primi giorni a Portimão l'organizzazione di coordinamento ti coinvolgerà in altre attività introduttive, che ti permetteranno d'acquisire informazioni sui luoghi in cui lavorerai, sul tuo progetto specifico e sullo staff comunale con cui collaborerai. Avrai anche l'opportunità di conoscere gli altri volontari europei, la città e tutti i luoghi che ti serviranno per vivere pienamente Portimão.

Cerchiamo un volontario dinamico, motivato, responsabile, amichevole, e soprattutto con un'attitudine positiva, interessato a lavorare in un gruppo internazionale e multiculturale. L'ideale è che, attraverso questo progetto, tu possa maturare la spinta a partecipare a molti altri progetti nella tua città una volta ritornato in Italia. A parità d'altre condizioni, la priorità verrà data a chi è disponibile a svolgere la formazione prepartenza di persona presso la nostra sede di Bologna. Ricorda poi che tutto il materiale che metti a disposizione a supporto della tua candidatura (curriculum, lettera di motivazione e profilo sul portale) dev'essere in Inglese (o in Portoghese, se lo conosci.....).
