Description

The aim of RCWG is to promote volunteering and active civic engagement while supporting organizations, institutions, and individuals who want to make a positive impact in their communities. We are looking for 1 motivated volunteer. As a volunteer, you will:

• Support the daily work of the RCWG team.

• Help organize volunteering events and community activities.

• Promote the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) by giving presentations, sharing your experience on social media, and preparing promotional materials.

• Assist the ESC Coordinator in planning and implementing group ESC project.

• Help organize integration meetings for ESC volunteers.

• Support Erasmus+ projects.

• Promote volunteering in local schools.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in event organization, international youth work, communication, and project management while contributing to the development of volunteering in the local community.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteer will live in a shared apartment with other coordinated volunteers (share a double room with one roommate) — creating a space not only to rest, but also to build friendships and share experiences. You will receive financial support: Monthly pocket money Monthly food allowance Reimbursement of local transport costs Your international travel to and from Gdańsk will also be covered according to Erasmus+ rules.


Training during the activity

You won’t be alone on this journey. Before arrival, you will receive preparation and guidance from your sending organisation. Once in Poland, you will be supported by a dedicated coordinator and introduced step by step to your new environment. You will also take part in ESC training session: On-Arrival Training – to help you settle in and connect with other volunteers. Regular meetings with coordinator from RCWG ensure you feel supported and confident throughout your project.

Participant profile

Our projects are generally open to young people who want to become volunteers in the 18-30 age range. Previous work experience and qualifications (especially in office work and doing presentations) may be useful, but not required. We are looking for dynamic, sociable, responsible, elastic people, who will help in office tasks. You should also be keen to work with different target groups. Participants MUST be interested in working in VOLUNTARY FIELD. We offer wide range of activities which are based on various competences and give the opportunity for personal grow. As volunteers will also conduct activities for youngsters we search for candidates without criminal records and addictions. Due to Polish Law volunteer will need to have certificate of no criminal record from his National Criminal Register.
