Do you want to help every child in China start school ready to learn in a safe and inclusive environment? UNICEF China is offering two internship opportunities with its Education Section in Beijing, supporting project implementation, documentation and advocacy.

About UNICEF China Education

UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, defend their rights and help them fulfil their potential. Education is UNICEF China's key programme area in the Country Programme 2026-2030, aiming to ensure that more disadvantaged and vulnerable children in China are adequately prepared to start school and are learning in an inclusive, healthy and safe environment. The programme combines upstream work to inform policies, guidelines and curriculum with downstream work to support national policies and reforms, co-create scalable models, build the skills of teachers and students, improve school and kindergarten environments, and promote alternative learning pathways for out-of-school adolescents. The intern works with UNICEF colleagues in the education and child protection section.
