Are you interested in migration, mobility and international operations? The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is offering an internship with the Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC) in Berlin, supporting the daily operational activities of the centre.

The Role

Working under the overall direction of the Chief of Mission, and under the direct supervision of the Team Leader of the Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC), the intern assists with the daily operational activities of the KVAC.


What You'll Do

๐Ÿ“ฌ Assist the KVAC team with daily activities, including receiving and sorting visa applications delivered by post, passport and document logistics, and ordering supporting documents according to the relevant checklist.

๐Ÿ“‘ Assist with document completeness checks for certain visa types, including university degree (D-2), Korean language trainee (D-4), exchange student (D-2-6) and confirmation of visa issuance (CVI) applications, in coordination with the Visa Support Assistant.

๐Ÿ“ž Assist with communications to beneficiaries, following standard operating procedures, including contacting applicants for missing documents or passport collection.

๐Ÿค Attend project meetings and training sessions with the project coordinator and other KVAC teams in Paris, London, The Hague and Ulaanbaatar.

๐Ÿ—’๏ธ Assist with the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports, and undertake any other assigned task.

Who Can Apply

๐ŸŽ“ Student or graduate, preferably in a college of Humanities and Social Sciences or similar.
