If you are passionate about EU policy and health, this paid internship at the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME) in Brussels is an excellent way to gain hands-on experience at the heart of European health advocacy. Over six months, you will research policy dossiers, monitor EU developments, and support meetings and events representing the medical profession across Europe.

About the Organisation

The Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME) is a Brussels-based organisation representing the medical profession in European policy. It is recruiting an EU Policy Intern for an internship in Brussels from 1 September 2026 to 28 February 2027.

Your Responsibilities

🔍 Research and analysis on a range of policy dossiers

🇪🇺 Monitoring international, EU, and national policies

🎪 Organising and participating in meetings and events

📝 Assisting with drafting reports, presentations, and other internal and external documents

🗂️ Assisting with administrative and communication tasks

Your Profile

🎓 A Master's degree or equivalent in law, political, economic, or social sciences

⚖️ Knowledge of EU law and the European decision-making process

🧠 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with swift execution and respect for deadlines

🗣️ Good written and oral communication skills, very good English, and ideally good knowledge of another EU language

💻 Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, web-meeting technologies; video/photo editing experience is welcome)

🤝 The capacity to work on a wide range of subjects under pressure, in a multicultural environment, and both independently and as part of a team

Conditions

💶 A paid internship under a Belgian Convention d'immersion professionnelle (CIP) contract

📆 From 1 September 2026 to 28 February 2027, with a negotiable start date
