โน๏ธ Description About The Opportunity
In Sync - A Cycle Awareness Course for People Who Take Care of Others
If you work with young people, you already know: you can't show up fully for them if you're running on empty. Youth work asks a lot of us, energy, patience, presence, day after day. But how often do we actually check in with our own rhythms before asking that of ourselves?
This course is an invitation to slow down and learn something most of us were never taught: how your cycle shapes your energy, focus, and mood โ and how to work with it instead of against it.
Why this matters for youth workers
Burnout doesn't usually happen because we don't care enough. It happens because we keep showing up the same way every day, regardless of what our body and mind actually have to give that day. Learning to recognize your own phases, when you have more capacity to lead a session, and when you need to protect your energy, is a small shift that can genuinely change how sustainable this work feels.
And there's something bigger here too: youth workers are often the adults young people learn self-awareness from. When we model listening to our own needs instead of pushing through them, we're teaching that just as much as any workshop content we deliver. You can't teach what you don't practice.
What's included
Your own Cycle Aligned Calendar, delivered by post
A live 2-hour online session, the four phases of the cycle, how to sync your work and rest to them, and a digital tool for what to eat in each phase
2 extra calendars to gift to people you love, because this kind of self-awareness is worth passing on, to a colleague, a friend, or a young person you mentor
