L'organizzazione di accoglienza è rappresentata da un un centro di cura diurno e una casa residenza per persone anziane nella cittadina di Oberried, situata nella Foresta Nera. Gestiti dall'Associazione dei Cittadini di Oberried, il centro diurno accoglie anziani durante il giorno, mentre la casa residenza permette ai suoi ospiti di vivere in autonomia, fornendo comunque supporto qualora dovesse venire meno. Come volontario, sarai chiamato a passare del tempo con gli anziani, sia durante momenti individuali che di gruppo. Giocherai a giochi da tavolo, leggerai e converserai con loro, fornirai supporto durante i pasti e le attività quotidiane, parteciperai a degli eventi e ad attività di tipo manuale e fisico, a canti ed escursioni. In particolare, promuoverai l'indipendenza degli anziani adottando un approccio sostenibile. Durante questa esperienza, avrai l'opportunità di immergerti nell'ambiente della cura degli anziani, acquisendo competenze linguistiche e professionali.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Sarai ospitato in una stanza singola all'interno d'un appartamento condiviso con altri volontari a Friburgo. L'appartamento è arredato e con internet, e le utenze sono pagate (entro i normali limiti di consumo). Riceverai un'indennità mensile di 210 euro per le spese personali, mentre la residenza ti fornirà il vitto. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Germania sarà completamente rimborsato, mentre per muoverti localmente e a livello nazionale ricerverai l'abbonamento al trasporto.
Training during the activity
In quanto volontario europeo avrai 3 momenti formativi ufficiali: una formazione prepartenza prima di lasciare l'Italia, una formazione all'arrivo in Germania e una terza formazione a circa metà del periodo di volontariato. Conoscerai meglio anche l'ambiente, in particolare i luoghi situati nella Foresta Nera, adatti all'escursionismo e alle passeggiate. Avrai anche l'opportunità di svolgere diverse attività sportive. Questo volontariato è un'occasione di orientamento e formazione professionale nel campo sanitario e socio-assistenziale, che potrebbe aprire le porte a un tuo impiego lavorativo
Participant profile
Il nostro candidato perfetto non dovrebbe essere laureato o iscritto all'università. Inoltre, devi avere un interesse per il lavoro sociale e la cura delle persone anziane e/o con disabilità e a rischio di esclusione. Devi essere propenso al lavoro individuale (proponendo e progettando attività in autonomia) così come al lavoro in team. Devi essere proattivo, propenso all'ascolto, empatico e responsabile, essenda questa un'esperienza con persone con fragilità. E' richiesto un impegno minimo di 10 mesi, in quanto gli ospiti del centro necessitano di relazioni stabili e non è possibile cambiare costantemente i volontari. Una conoscenza base del tedesco è ben accetta, così come la patente B.
