🔷 Activity Details

Description

You will be one of three long-term volunteers we will be hosting this year, and your main area of focus will be at our local elementary schools and partner organisations, Gradec and Kresnice. Gradec is a medium-sized school in Litija for pupils aged 6-15 years old (Grades 1-8), and Kresnice is a smaller, village school for Grades 1-5, which works under Gradec’s ‘umbrella’. Gradec and Lojtra cooperate in sending and receiving pupils on international youth exchanges, and now also in hosting international volunteers.Past volunteers at Gradec have been involved in language learning, after-school sports and games, gardening and STEM lessons, while at Kresnice, forest pedagogy and outside play have been large parts of the volunteers’ focus. The teachers have found that international experiences inspire their pupils to learn more and be more active - as our volunteer, you'll be a key part of this process, of bringing possibility home. The whole infopack here: https://canva.link/7ixlva3hfflnx6y
