Description

Volunteering at the Manitese Finale Emilia. Community Projects & Events Volunteers will support the organisation of public events, creative workshops, and awareness-raising activities for schools and the local community. They will help with logistics and the preparation of materials. Social garden and animals Volunteers will help in the community garden and with the care of animals, learning agroecology techniques and creating social opportunities for people in need through outdoor activities. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodated in a apartment, fully equipped house in Finale Emilia. Each volunteer will have a single or double room and access to a shared bathroom, kitchen and communal areas. Wi-Fi is available. The apartment is located in the town centre, with supermarkets and other amenities nearby. Volunteers will be provided with bicycles to travel to the associationโ€™s headquarters, which is around 15 minutes away via a cycle path. For longer trips, volunteers can reach the nearby train station. Volunteers will be responsible for cleaning, waste disposal, and preparing their own mea


Training during the activity

Training will be provided for all activities, alongside regular mentoring meetings. They will also take part in On Arrival and Mid-Term training organised by the National Agency and have access to the Online Language Support (OLS) platform to learn Italian. Additional local workshops will be organised on non-formal education, communication and sustainability.

Participant profile

We are looking for motivated and open-minded young people aged 18โ€“30 who are eager to engage with solidarity, sustainability and community living. Ideal candidates will be creative, sociable and proactive with a genuine interest in social inclusion, reuse, the circular economy and environmental issues. Basic English or Italian language skills are required, and an interest in teamwork, intercultural dialogue and non-formal education would be an advantage.
