¿Te gustaría ser parte de un proyecto para apoyar procesos de construcción de paz a través del voluntariado humanitario? En el marco del proyecto ACT4PEACE, que busca promover el voluntariado juvenil como herramienta para la promoción de los DDHH y las culturas de paz en América Latina y la región MENA, MPDL ofrece una oportunidad de voluntariado en Uruguay. MPDL es una organización social, pacifista, feminista y antirracista que trabaja desde hace más de 40 años por la construcción de sociedades más justas, inclusivas y pacíficas. La persona voluntaria se integrará en el equipo de El Abrojo, apoyando diferentes proyectos, para promover el desarrollo personal y la inclusión de niños, niñas y adolescentes y garantizar el ejercicio de sus derechos. La jornada laboral será de 30 a 38 horas semanales, ajustada a las necesidades de la organización, y contará con acompañamiento y formación. Las actividades principales tendrán lugar en Montevideo con desplazamientos a comunidades cercanas.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Los gastos de alojamiento, visado, seguro y billetes de avión están cubiertos por MPDL. El alojamiento se ubicará en una zona segura de Montevideo, con acceso a servicios como supermercados, restaurantes, hospitales y transporte público. Incluirá todos los servicios básicos (electricidad, agua, gas, internet) y habitaciones individuales. La persona voluntaria recibirá un dinero de bolsillo para cubrir gastos personales, incluyendo comida y transporte local. Los costos de viaje desde tu lugar de residencia hasta el país de destino serán cubiertos por MPDL. Se activará un seguro médico: Henner.


Training during the activity

Asistirás a una formación previa sobre MPDL, ayuda humanitaria, seguridad, tutoría y aspectos prácticos (visado, seguro, etc.). Al llegar a tu destino, recibirás formación sobre la organización de acogida, tus tareas y rol. Además, podrás participar en espacios de intercambio con otras personas voluntarias y formaciones para fortalecer competencias transversales como la conciencia intercultural. Durante tu despliegue, te animamos a aprovechar formaciones de la UE como OLS, GOT y SALTO.

Participant profile

Buscamos a una persona motivada por contribuir a la transformación social y los procesos de construcción de paz, comprometida con los valores pacifistas, feministas y antirracistas de nuestra organización, y dispuesta a integrarse al equipo de El Abrojo durante 9 meses. Si te interesa la intervención social con infancias y juventudes, contarás con el acompañamiento de una persona tutora durante toda tu experiencia. Buscamos a una persona con motivación por sus funciones de apoyo en tareas de intervención social, con ganas de aportar y aprender, en línea con los valores de confidencialidad, respeto e inclusión. Esperamos que sea una persona con empatía, sensibilidad por temáticas sociales, paciencia, compromiso, flexibilidad y resiliencia. *Si has enfrentado barreras para acceder a servicios, salud, empleo, educación o vives en zonas periféricas o alejadas, te animamos especialmente a participar. Se valorará experiencia previa en tareas de intervención social y el interés por la igualdad de género. *Los/as candidatos/as deben tener entre 18 y 35 años, residir en uno de los países elegibles (Estado miembro de la UE, Macedonia del Norte, Islandia, Liechtenstein o Turquía), haber completado la formación obligatoria en Voluntariado de Ayuda Humanitaria y no haber participado previamente en programas individuales de Voluntariado de Ayuda Humanitaria. Al sumar esta nueva oportunidad de voluntariado y cualquier participación previa en programas de voluntariado de la UE, la duración total no puede superar los 12 meses.
