L'organizzazione d'accoglienza si dedica a fornire assistenza educativa e sociale a bambini e ragazzi, a difendere i loro diritti e a promuovere il coinvolgimento della comunità per migliorare il loro benessere. Missione e visione dell'organizzazione si concentrano sull'offerta di un supporto socio-educativo professionale a bambini e ragazzi, in particolare a coloro che potrebbero essere emarginati dalla società. Entrando in contatto con giovani di strada e insegnando competenze di vita, giocherai e avrai conversazioni stimolanti con loro, li inviterai a serate organizzate dall’organizzazione e aiuterai a guidare attività, campi estivi e gite con qualsiasi condizione atmosferica. Inoltre, contribuirai a potenziare la presenza social dell'organizzazione e fornirai supporto nella promozione dei Corpi Solidari Europei durante eventi rivolti ai giovani. Oltre al lavoro in team, si incoraggia l'iniziativa personale attraverso l'organizzazione e la realizzazione di un progetto.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Avrai l'opportunità d'essere ospitato in un comodo appartamento insieme ad altri volontari che condividono la tua passione per il servizio alla comunità. Avrai a disposizione una camera singola con un ampio spazio per te. Riceverai inoltre: un abbonamento mensile per i mezzi pubblici, un'indennità mensile adeguata a garantirti il vitto e un'altra di circa 180 euro per le tue spese personali. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Lituania ti sarà completamente rimborsato, e un'assicurazione convenzionata con l'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso d'infortunio o malattia.


Training during the activity

Riceverai 3 momenti formativi ufficiali: uno prima di lasciare l'Italia, un altro poco dopo l'arrivo in Lituania e un terzo dopo la metà del volontariato. Avrai incontri regolari con lo staff dell'organizzazione d'accoglienza, perché la riflessione è fondamentale per la crescita personale. Questi incontri offrono un ambiente sicuro e supportivo per condividere esperienze, imparare gli uni dagli altri e crescere personalmente e professionalmente. Un mentor per il supporto personale, un coordinatore del progetto e un tutor che ti guiderà in ogni fase del percorso saranno sempre al tuo fianco.

Cerchiamo volontari gentili, empatici, riflessivi e capaci di comprendere i sentimenti dei giovani, persone che sappiano instaurare facilmente un rapporto con loro. È importante essere aperti ai cambiamenti, ai rifiuti e al fatto che le cose non vadano come previsto. Inoltre, si lavora molto all'aperto, quindi un’inclinazione per l’attività fisica è importante, in quanto si camminerà, si praticherà sport e si farà, di tanto in tanto, camping. A parte un Inglese colloquiale, se parli una lingua slava o addirittura il Lituano sarà un grande punto a tuo favore, perché ti aiuterà a entrare in sintonia con i giovani con cui lavorerai. Comunque sia, ricorda che tutto il materiale che metti a disposizione a supporto della tua candidatura dev'essere in Inglese (o in Lituano, se lo parli...).
