Description
ATELIER zwo.7 offers open workshops for all ages, including ceramics, bookbinding, sewing, printing, painting, theatre, and more. The space also features a vegetable and herb garden for children to learn and grow. The names of the organisation is "Scheune 27" - taken from the location of the place in a historic barn (German: "Scheune") in Krebsow, a small village near the city of Greifswald in North-East Germany close to the Baltic Sea cost. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You'll live in the family's house on the farm, where you have your own room. You will share the kitchen and bathroom with other volunteers who work on the farm. There is a beautiful meadow with large old trees on the farm grounds, which is used by the farm residents. The university town of Greifswald, 16 km to the west, can be reached by bike and train in 20 minutes. The monthly food allowance is paid in full and you are responsible for your own food arrangements.
Training during the activity
You will participate in two seminar weeks organized by the German national agency: the on arrival training and midterm evaluation. Both take place somewhere in Germany, together with other ESC volunteers. In addition, you will join seminars to network with other volunteers in the region of Greifswald/Vorpommern organized by the project www.turbina-pomerania.org/en. It is part of the position to study German, too.

We are looking for you if you are: interested in working with children and adults, interested in being creative, interested in gardening activities, independent, somehow familiar with the German language and interested in learning more German, and if you enjoy country life.
