If you are a young creative who wants to use your art to protect the planet, the True Blue Fellowship is a powerful opportunity. This global fellowship empowers youth to use the creative arts to safeguard the ocean, waterways, and climate, offering seed funding, mentorship, and a worldwide community to help turn your vision into real impact in your own community.

About the Fellowship

The True Blue Fellowship, run by Bow Seat and the Future Blue Youth Council, connects and empowers youth around the world who are leveraging the creative arts to safeguard the ocean, waterways, and climate. Through seed funding, peer support, and capacity building, the Fellowship follows a trust-based, creative arts-centred model to uplift youth enacting transformational change in their communities. It is not simply a grant programme; it is an incubator for creative environmental leadership worldwide.

The Fellowship provides mentorship, capacity-building programming, and up to USD $2,500 in funding for 12 youth leading creative arts-based projects that address ocean, waterways, and/or climate change issues in their local communities. Its focus spans a wide variety of environmental and social justice issues, so applicants are encouraged to be creative and consider the vast intersections between people and the planet.
