Want to make a real difference in young people's lives — and grow along the way? Our youth centre in the heart of rural France is looking for a European volunteer to join the team. Welcoming you pushes us to question and evolve our practices, and gives local teenagers a living example of what European mobility can be — something they can dream of for themselves once they turn 18. You won't be "extra help": you'll be a trusted adult by their side, sharing your passions — culture, arts, sports, environment, science... whatever drives you. Our youth sector supports young people's own projects, builds their confidence and empowers them to act. Your energy, your story and your skills will feed directly into that mission.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You'll live in Le Mans, in a shared house with other ESC volunteers — everything provided, and a ready-made international crew to explore France with! A bus card covers your daily commute (about 1 hour). On school days you can eat at the canteen; for other meals you'll receive food money. Got your own car? Bring it — we'll chip in for gas.

Training during the activity

You'll start with an onboarding training with the Maison de l'Europe and your volunteer group, plus the official on-arrival and mid-term ESC seminars.

Participant profile

You might be our super volunteer if you are: voluntary, caring and at ease with people, eager to share what you know — and to learn plenty in return. Some French would be ideal to connect with the teens, alongside English or Spanish. You're versatile and curious, with interests in sport, science, arts and culture, the environment...
