Description

Popcorn Club Aruba is a non-profit youth organization with more than 35 years of experience empowering young people through arts, culture, leadership, volunteering, and non-formal education. Based in Aruba, Popcorn Club creates opportunities for young people to discover their talents, develop new skills, build self-confidence, and become active citizens. Through local and international projects, we work with hundreds of young people every year while promoting inclusion, creativity, solidarity, and intercultural learning. We are currently looking for three motivated ESC volunteers to join our international team.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will receive: Accommodation provided by the hosting organization. Monthly food allowance. Monthly pocket money according to ESC regulations. Local transportation support. Mentoring and personal support. Youthpass Certificate. Continuous learning opportunities. Participation in local and international activities.

VOLUNTEER POSITION 1 ESC Project Management Volunteer September 2026 โ€“ December 2026 (3 Months) Description This position is ideal for someone interested in project management, administration, international cooperation, youth work, and European programmes. The volunteer will work closely with the management team and gain practical experience in coordinating local and international projects.

Main Tasks: Assisting with ESC and Erasmus+ applications. Supporting project planning and implementation. Assisting with reporting and documentation. Coordinating volunteer activities and schedules. Maintaining project records and databases. Supporting communication with international partners. Assisting with office administration and logistics. Helping develop future international projects.

Volunteer Profile: We are looking for someone who: Is organized and responsible. Has good communication skills. Enjoys administrative and office work. Has an interest in project management. Is comfortable working with deadlines. Has basic computer skills. Is motivated to learn about the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ programmes.

VOLUNTEER POSITION 2: ESC All-Round Volunteer September 2026 โ€“ March 2027 (6 Months) Description The volunteer will support the daily operation of Popcorn Club Aruba and assist with a wide variety of youth, cultural, and community projects. Main Tasks Assisting with youth activities and workshops. Supporting project management and logistics. Helping with social media and communication. Creating photo and video content. Assisting with office administration. Supporting local and international events. Helping organize project materials and equipment. Assisting with volunteer activities and community outreach. Volunteer Profile We are looking for someone who: Is proactive and flexible. Enjoys working with young people. Has a positive attitude. Is creative and willing to take initiative. Enjoys teamwork. Is interested in arts, culture, youth work, or community development.

VOLUNTEER POSITION 3: ESC All-Round Volunteer January 2027 โ€“ July 2027 (7 Months) Description This volunteer will become part of the core team of Popcorn Club Aruba and support various projects, activities, and events throughout the year. Main Tasks Supporting project management and administration. Assisting with social media, photography, and communication. Helping organize workshops and events. Assisting with logistics and daily operations. Managing costumes, props, and project materials. Supporting international volunteers and participants. Assisting with youth development activities. Helping prepare performances and community events. Additional Opportunity for Dancers and Choreographers Volunteers with experience in dance, performing arts, or choreography are highly encouraged to apply.

Additional responsibilities may include: Assisting dance instructors. Supporting rehearsals. Creating choreographies. Facilitating dance workshops. Working with young dancers.
