Movimiento por la Paz โ€“ MPDL, a social, pacifist, feminist and antiracist organisation that has worked for over 40 years for more just, inclusive and peaceful societies, is offering an ESC international volunteering opportunity in Colombia. Within the ACT4PEACE project ("Solidarity, Inclusion and Action for Peace"), which promotes youth volunteering as a tool for defending human rights and cultures of peace in Latin America and the MENA region, the volunteer will join the MPDL team in Colombia.



About the Role

The volunteer integrates into the MPDL Colombia team, supporting the implementation and management of projects with a human-rights, gender and inclusion approach. It's an experience to contribute to development and peacebuilding processes while strengthening professional and intercultural capacities in a committed international environment:

Who Can Apply

๐ŸŒฑ Motivated to contribute to social transformation and peacebuilding, committed to pacifist, feminist and antiracist values, and ready to join MPDL Colombia for 9 months

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ Interested in project management with a gender focus (you'll have a tutor accompanying you throughout)

โญ Especially encouraged: those who have faced barriers to services, health, employment or education, or who live in peripheral or remote areas

Training
