L’organizzazione d’accoglienza svolge un ruolo attivo per dare supporto e ascolto alle famiglie con almeno un membro affetto da autismo. L’obiettivo principale è migliorare la qualità della vita di persone con disagi specifici e delle loro famiglie. Aiuteresti partecipando a numerose attività di sostegno, sempre guidato da un professionista, e sviluppando programmi e workshops. Parteciperai alla crescita personale dell'individuo, accompagnandolo nel percorso verso una maggiore autonomia, collaborando in attività giornaliere (piscina, giardinaggio, vendita di prodotti ecologici, laboratori di prodotti fatti a mano, attività di vita quotidiana, terapia dell’ascolto, comunicazione, music therapy, tempo libero…), sia dentro al centro che fuori. Promuoverai i programmi europei e quelli di mobilità tra i giovani, con presentazioni sulla tua esperienza ESC in centri giovanili a Murcia e, infine, dovrai creare contenuti per raccontare le vostre (tua e del giovane che supporti) attività.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Alloggerai in un appartamento di Murcia, dove vivrai con altri volontari in una casa dotata di tutto il necessario. Ogni mese riceverai un'indennità di 186 euro per le spese personali, e un'altra di 184 euro per l'acquisto di generi alimentari. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Spagna ti sarà completamente rimborsato. Se dovrai spostarti dentro Murcia potrai scegliere tra la bicicletta e l'abbonamento dell'autobus. Il tuo impegno sarà intorno alle 34 ore a settimana, tra il pomeriggio e la sera. Un'assicurazione dell'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso di incidente.
Training during the activity
Avrai 3 momenti formativi ufficiali: una formazione prepartenza prima di lasciare l'Italia, una seconda all'arrivo in Spagna e una terza formazione a circa metà del periodo di volontariato. Questo progetto offre l'opportunità d'apprendere, con il supporto costante d'uno staff tecnico, le principali aree relative all'assistenza a persone con bisogni diversi, in particolare collegati allo spettro autistico. Acquisirai le competenze di base e molte conoscenze su varie tematiche attraverso attività d'educazione non formale, partecipazione a trattamenti psicologici e sessioni di supporto emotivo.

Sei il candidato perfetto se condividi i valori dell'organizzazione d'accoglienza, sei responsabile, paziente e ti piace comunicare. E' necessario avere uno spirito d'iniziativa dinamico e affrontare l'esperienza con entusiasmo, serietà e creatività. E' richiesto un certo grado di impegno visto il profilo delle persone con cui si andrà a collaborare, unito a empatia, motivazione e apertura mentale. E' importante avere un forte interesse all'interazione con persone affette dallo spettro autistico e verso l'inclusività e la diversità.
