L'organizzazione d'accoglienza contrasta la solitudine degli anziani, un problema sociale sempre più pressante in Francia. E' un progetto intergenerazionale, in cui collaborerai con un altro volontario europeo. Svolgerai varie attività, ma la tua missione principale sarà il progetto "Ascoltami", lo promuoverai tra i volontari locali, identificando gli anziani disposti a condividere le proprie storie, registrandole utilizzando l'attrezzatura fornita e creando un prodotto finale. Altre attività comprendono: visite periodiche agli anziani per stare con loro e far passare il tempo tra chiacchiere, camminate, giochi da tavolo e laboratori digitali per aiutarli a scoprire le nuove tecnologie, partecipando alla vita della loro comunità. Avrai anche momenti d'incontro e confronto con gli altri volontari locali partecipando alla vita dell'organizzazione d'accoglienza (feste, viaggi di vacanza, riunioni). Potrai sviluppare un tuo progetto personale nel settore e imparare nuove competenze.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Alloggerai in una camera singola all'interno d'una residenza per giovani lavoratori, oppure in un appartamento, da solo o in condivisione. Avrai accesso ai mezzi pubblici (tram, autobus) che si trovano nelle vicinanze dell'alloggio. Riceverai un'indennità complessiva di 530 euro al mese per le tue spese personali, il vitto e l'internet. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Francia ti sarà completamente rimborsato. Un'assicurazione convenzionata con l'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso di malattie o infortuni. Normalmente sarai impegnato per 31 ore a settimana, con qualche eccezione.
Training during the activity
Parteciperai a 3 sessioni di formazione ufficiali: una prima della partenza dall'Italia, una seconda poco dopo l'arrivo in Francia, e una terza a circa metà del periodo di volontariato. Durante l'anno potrai beneficiare anche di corsi di formazione tematici, di supporto e consulenza da parte del personale e di volontari esperti, e d'un corso di Francese affinché tu viva un'esperienza di volontariato memorabile ed entusiasmante dalla quale uscirai arricchito e orgoglioso d'aver partecipato a un progetto su larga scala che trascende i confini francesi: la lotta contro l'isolamento degli anziani!

Sei il nostro candidato perfetto se ti piace stare con gli anziani, fare comunità e ascoltare. Il progetto ti porterà a creare dei legami e richiede positività e azione. Si tratta di un'attività importante, poiché la solitudine tra gli anziani in Francia è un problema in crescita e già diffuso. Potrai operare in Bretagna o nella regione di Pays-de-la-Loire. Serve spirito d'iniziativa e ascolto attivo, volontà di aiutare e creare progetti e materiale utile a produrre contenuti finali. Serve partecipazione alla comunità e avrai la possibilità di conoscere le regioni e le città francesi, oltre che la lingua e la cultura locale. Se hai un interesse a condividere le tue esperienze di vita con gli altri e di comunicare, ma anche verso l'animazione, sei la persona giusta per questo progetto. Se sai lavorare in squadra e ti piace produrre video, foto e materiale audiovisivo è l'opportunità che stai cercando.
