L'organizzazione di accoglienza aiuta da tanti decenni gli anziani, togliendoli dalla solitudine, un problema crescente in Francia. Gestisce tante attività per gli anziani a cui prenderai parte anche te. La tua missione principale sarà far visita agli anziani (a casa loro o nelle case di riposo), creando legami con loro. Altre attività in cui sarai coinvolto: il progetto "BARAQUE À FRAT’", aiutare a organizzare eventi collettivi (vacanze, azioni culturali...), conversare e ascoltare gli anziani, aiutarli nell'accesso allo sport, cultura, arte, passatempi, fare attività di sensibilizzazione, incontrare partner locali, partecipare a forum e, se lo desideri, proporre e atturare tue idee per attività legate al settore. Infine, sarai chiamato a dare una testimonianza per promuovere l'organizzazione e la sua missione, sia a livello locale che non, e anche il volontariato europeo tra i giovani. Avrai l'opportunità di conoscere la comunità locale, la sua cultura e la lingua francese.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Alloggerai a Melun, presso la Résidence de la Rochette, una residenza giovanile vicino al luogo di lavoro. Avrai accesso ai mezzi pubblici (tram, autobus) che si trovano nelle vicinanze dell'alloggio. Riceverai un'indennità complessiva di 530 euro al mese per le tue spese personali, il vitto e l'internet. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Francia ti sarà completamente rimborsato. Un'assicurazione convenzionata con l'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso di malattie o infortuni. Farai parte della squadra che agisce anche nei comuni vicini di Fontainebleau, Avon e Nemours.
Training during the activity
Parteciperai a 3 sessioni di formazione ufficiali: una prima della partenza dall'Italia, una seconda poco dopo l'arrivo in Francia, e una terza a circa metà del periodo di volontariato. Durante l'anno potrai beneficiare anche di corsi di formazione tematici, di supporto e consulenza da parte del personale e di volontari esperti, e d'un corso di Francese affinché tu viva un'esperienza di volontariato memorabile ed entusiasmante dalla quale uscirai arricchito e orgoglioso d'aver partecipato a un progetto su larga scala che trascende i confini francesi: la lotta contro l'isolamento degli anziani!

Sei il nostro candidato perfetto se ti piace stare con gli anziani, fare comunità e ascoltare. Devi essere pronto a dare e ricevere e ti deve piacere sentirti utile. Il progetto ti porterà a creare dei legami e richiede positività e azione. Si tratta di un'attività importante, poiché la solitudine tra gli anziani in Francia è un problema in crescita e già diffuso. Serve spirito d'iniziativa e ascolto attivo, volontà di aiutare ed eventualmente creare progetti partendo dai tuoi interessi. Serve partecipazione alla comunità e avrai la possibilità di conoscere le città francesi, la lingua e la cultura locale. Se hai un interesse a condividere le tue esperienze di vita con gli altri e a comunicare, ma anche verso l'animazione, sei la persona giusta per questo progetto. Se sai lavorare in squadra e sai condurre semplici conversazioni in francese, è l'opportunità che stai cercando. Una forte motivazione e apertura di spirito sono gradite, così come la patente di guida e la volontà di incrementare le tue capacità inter-relazionali e inter-culturali.
