La Maison de l'Europe is a civic and cultural organisation seeking a volunteer to help promote European cultures, citizenship, and EU-related educational activities. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

โ€ข Accommodation: You will be provided with a furnished studio or shared housing, accessible by public transportation. โ€ข Food / Pocket allowance: Volunteer will receive a monthly allowance to cover grocery shopping, pocket allowance is also covered according to the program The activity place will be at Europa Nantes, in the attractive neighborhood of lโ€™Ile des Machines. He/She will have a space (computer, desk and furniture) with the members in an open space close to his/her tutor.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will take part in the integration workshops organized by the Maison de lโ€™Europe in Nantes, as well as two weeks of training organized by the National Agency (Erasmus+) covering intercultural communication, non-formal education and European topics. French classes for two months will also be provided.

Participant profile

We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and enthusiastic individual who shares our values โ€” particularly around interculturality, European citizenship, and solidarity. Experience working with children and teenagers is highly desirable, as is a willingness to engage with diverse audiences, both urban and rural, on European topics and mobility. Experience in independent travel or volunteering is a real asset โ€” don't hesitate to highlight it in your application! We value open-mindedness, team spirit, and a cooperative mindset. While some knowledge of French is appreciated, it is not required. Above all, we are looking for someone with initiative, commitment, and a genuine desire to bring ideas to life within our association.
