Description

Le organizzazioni di accoglienza sono 2 centri giovanili che danno supporto ai giovani e alle organizzazioni giovanili concedendo spazi, risorse e guide, oltre che con attività educative e altre mirate ai giovani. Promuovono l'elaborazione di idee e la partecipazione a eventi, collaborano con le scuole e associazioni di sostegno ai giovani. Sono luoghi di attivismo e formazione, che implementano diverse attività, molte delle quali permettono ai giovani di attuare le loro idee in progetti incentrati su temi quali: LGBTQ+, viaggi, diversità, clima... Tu elaborerai attività interattive nel campo dello sport, arte e letteratura, dando vita a dibattiti, giochi e utilizzerai i social media dei centri per la promozione dei vari eventi. La lingua di lavoro è l'Inglese.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Alloggerai in camera singola in un appartamento di 7 stanze su due piani, insieme ad altri 6 volontari del progetto. La casa è ben attrezzata e dispone d'una zona comune con Wi-Fi, una lavatrice, un bagno e una doccia su ogni piano. La casa si trova in una zona sicura. Ogni mese riceverai 180 euro per l'acquisto di generi alimentari, altri 150 euro per le spese personali e una tessera per i trasporti pubblici. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Lettonia ti sarà completamente rimborsato, e un'assicurazione convenzionata con l'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso di incidente.

Training during the activity

Parteciperai a 3 sessioni di formazione ufficiali: una prima della partenza dall'Italia, una seconda qualche settimana dopo il tuo arrivo in Lettonia e una terza verso la fine del volontariato. Lo staff dell'ente di coordinamento sarà sempre a tua disposizione per aiutarti a superare qualsiasi difficoltà tu possa incontrare entrando in un contesto così diverso dal tuo quotidiano. Questo volontariato è un'esperienza che vale veramente la pena fare, con ritmi intensi, piena di cose da imparare, di relazioni di gruppo e di momenti indimenticabili, sul lavoro e nei fine settimana.

Participant profile

Sei il candidato perfetto per questo progetto se sei altamente creativo e se ti piace partecipare a eventi e iniziative di varia natura. Un interesse verso le modalità con cui il comune di Riga lavora con i giovani è ben accetto. Ti verrà chiesto d'impegnarti e di mescolarti con alcune organizzazioni giovanili locali e collaborare con loro a vari eventi, ma anche di sviluppare tue proprie iniziative personali (escursioni, laboratori, serate di giochi, dibattiti, serate di cinema, eventi sportivi ecc.) e di aiutare nell'attività sui social network dell'organizzazione se hai la volontà di farlo. Questi centri uniscono creatività e azione a temi sociali rilevanti. Ricordati che tutto il materiale (CV, lettera di motivazione e profilo sul portale) che metti a disposizione per sostenere la tua candidatura dev'essere in Inglese (o in Lettone se lo conosci già...)!!!
