Description
The volunteers will be divided into four teams: The Environmental Team will be engaged in cleaning initiatives, environmental protection campaigns and restoration of hiking/biking trails. The Painting Team will focus on painting walls in local kindergartens. The Kids Team will conduct non-formal activities in kindergartens during the mornings and in parks during the evenings. The Media Team, consisting of 5 members, will be responsible for managing social media accounts and creating promotional materials. In addition, volunteers will actively participate in local festivals, concerts, and cultural events. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We offer accommodation in a school dormitory, where volunteers will share a bedroom equipped with 3/4 beds and have access to a common bathroom and kitchen. The travel budget to Romania varies depending on the country of origin, ranging from โฌ211 to โฌ395, as calculated by the European Commission's distance band calculator. Volunteers will be provided with additional support, including: Pocket Money: โฌ4 per day Food Allowance: โฌ5 per day Furthermore, volunteers will receive a transport card and health insurance during their time with us.
Training during the activity
We have planned and organized team-building activities. These activities are designed to foster camaraderie, enhance communication and strengthen the bonds among team members. By engaging in these team-building exercises at the outset, we aim to create a positive and collaborative environment, setting the foundation for a successful and cohesive team throughout the duration of the project.
Participant profile
We are seeking individuals who fit the following criteria to join our project: Age between 18 and 30 Flexibility, empathy, tolerance & strong communication skills Previous experience as a local volunteer Willingness to collaborate effectively within teams Creative and proactive individuals Proficient in painting walls or street art Experienced in campaigning and supporting local events Readiness to combat exclusion, prejudices, and stereotypes Minimum English proficiency at the B1 level If you embody these qualities, we invite you to apply!
