ESN Porto is looking for a Front Office Intern to help keep the ESN Porto Office a welcoming, organised and functional space for both the team and international students — a role at the heart of the Erasmus experience.

About ESN Porto

A local section of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), one of the largest student associations in Europe. They support and connect over 3,000 international students in Porto every year through cultural, social and recreational activities — from cozy events to trips, parties and volunteering projects. In 2024, Porto was awarded Erasmus Destination of the Year. Their mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive and unforgettable experience for every international student who chooses the city.

Your Mission

🏢 Day-to-day management of the ESN Porto Office (managing cash flow, preparing ESNcards, overseeing the delivery of invoices)

🤝 Supporting and welcoming international students

📋 Overseeing logistics and ensuring the proper functioning of the office space (you'll always have volunteers with you to guide through the space and activities)

Your Responsibilities

ℹ️ Assisting international students with information, questions and general support

🎟️ Managing registrations for ESN events, trips and activities

🧹 Helping maintain the tidiness and organisation of the office area, asking volunteers for support when needed

📝 Monitoring and reporting any issues with cleanliness or organisation to the Office Team

Support & Integration

You'll be directly guided by the Office Team — two dedicated Office Managers who provide continuous support, guidance and training. The role offers constant interaction with international students, the perfect opportunity to develop communication, problem-solving and intercultural skills. You're also encouraged to take part in ESN Porto's social events, cultural activities and trips to feel fully integrated.
