The Bibliothèque hispanique at Paul-Valéry University in Montpellier is looking for a motivated Erasmus intern for the 2026–2027 academic year — someone able to integrate into the team, participate in the life of the library and help students with their academic work. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.


About the Library

A Spanish-speaking library that is part of Paul-Valéry University in Montpellier, France. All the books are in Spanish, and most of the students who use it are studying the language.


Main Responsibilities

📖 Greeting visitors, checking books in and out, and advising students

🔎 Helping students navigate the online catalogue and use library resources

📚 Assisting with book processing

🎭 Participating in organising cultural events with the library team

🗣️ Providing language support to students with their academic work

🇪🇸 Language exchanges in French and Spanish with Spanish students

Desired Profile

🇪🇸 Preferably a native Spanish speaker, as the library is Spanish-speaking — this is an asset

The Details

📍 Location: Montpellier, France

🗓️ Period: Within the 2026–2027 academic year, between September and June (start flexible, dates agreed together based on your availability)

🕒 Commitment: Full-time, Monday to Thursday — approximately 25 hours per week

💶 Compensation: Unpaid — for Erasmus students, funded by your Erasmus+ grant
