WIL Europe is offering an Events & Communications internship for someone passionate about communications and events, who would like to develop their expertise at the heart of a small, dynamic and meaningful organisation.


About WIL Europe

The European Network for Women in Leadership (WIL Europe) is a Europe-wide non-profit dedicated to promoting and advancing the professional and social interests of women in leadership positions and aspiring female leaders across Europe. Its mission is to connect, inspire and empower women to lead the way โ€” providing a space to meet, exchange, network, grow and find opportunities not always readily available in their immediate environments. Its activities focus on international, local and online events (including with key political and business leaders), peer-to-peer networking and the successful Women Talent Pool (WTP) leadership programme for emerging female leaders.



Responsibilities

As an Events & Communications Intern, you'll work closely with the Events & Communications Coordinator and the Chief Operating Officer to support the planning, coordination and delivery of WIL Europe's in-person and online events, networking activities and leadership initiatives โ€” helping ensure the smooth running of communications, event management and the WTP programme, while strengthening the organisation's visibility, engagement and impact across Europe.



Your Tasks

๐Ÿ“จ Content creation โ€” preparing the monthly newsletter and creating communication materials such as brochures and event and social media visuals

๐Ÿ“Š Project reports โ€” collecting and analysing project data, and preparing and conducting surveys with Members and WTP participants

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Interviews โ€” organising, conducting and editing interviews with Members and WTP participants, and managing relationships with the volunteer team

๐ŸŽจ Communications strategy โ€” contributing to WIL Europe's overall strategy, designing visuals for LinkedIn, events and the website to increase visibility and impact

๐ŸŒŸ WTP programme management โ€” supporting the COO and Coordinator in running the Women Talent Pool programme, including onboarding participants and coordinating sessions and activities

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Events support โ€” assisting with the planning and delivery of WIL events, coordinating logistics and maintaining relations with participants during events



Requirements

๐ŸŽ“ You're studying, or have studied, communication, politics and social affairs or a related field

๐Ÿ’ก Creativity and the ability to come up with new ideas

๐Ÿ“ฒ Experience in social media management and web content software, particularly Canva

๐Ÿ“‹ Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multitask

๐Ÿค Proactive, with good judgement and strong interpersonal skills

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Excellent written and spoken English, and a good working knowledge of French

โ™€๏ธ A commitment to gender equality and the professional advancement of women

๐Ÿ“„ Eligible to complete an internship in France (able to provide a convention de stage or equivalent)
