Hellenic Youth Participation is seeking an intern to support the visibility activities of its EU projects and the organisation's campaigns. If you love content, storytelling and social media, this one's for you.

Hellenic Youth Participation is a leading education and empowerment organization that connects citizens locally, nationally and internationally. They envision a society in which each individual cares and acts. Their work focuses on personal and professional development and youth activism through experiential, diversified and non-formal activities. They coordinate and take part in EU-funded projects (Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps and more), empower local volunteering teams, and organise workshops, seminars and activities for all age groups — teenagers, young adults and adults.

Main Tasks

📱 Creating engaging content for HYP's social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook)

🗂️ Managing those social media channels

📣 Creating targeted social media campaigns

🎥 Taking care of the audiovisual material of local events

📊 Updating organising tools, such as the dissemination tracker and visibility statistics

🤝 Assisting with team and project meetings

🔎 Conducting market research to identify new marketing opportunities

➕ Supporting other organisational tasks according to current needs

Required Qualifications

🎫 Being eligible for an internship grant (through Erasmus Placement, your university or another source)

🗣️ The ability to work in English, spoken and written, with an independent work style

📈 A willingness to learn, be flexible, and take initiative and responsibility

🤝 Being comfortable with both teamwork and individual work

Nice to Have

🌱 Experience in youth organisations, volunteering and organising events

🎨 Experience with Canva and social media

✨ Knowledge or experience in Erasmus+ (KA1, KA2, KA3) and/or the European Solidarity Corps

Good to Know

🎓 Candidates of any educational background are welcome, as long as you're motivated to learn and work in their environment

The Details

📍 Location: Athens, Greece

🗓️ Period: 7 September 2026 to 7 February 2027

⏳ Duration: 6 months — flexible dates, with a preference for long-term collaborations of 4 months or more

🕒 Commitment: Full-time

💶 Compensation: No financial compensation
