🔷 Activity Details

Description

The starting point of our project is to add a European dimension to our local activities and to provide information and opportunities for young people. As an association, we carry out many activities in our province. In this context, our aims are:

* To add a European dimension to our volunteering activities.

* To improve the quality of our information activities for young people.

* To provide opportunities.

* To combat discrimination against women, young people, and people with disabilities, and to remove barriers to equal opportunities and participation in social and economic life.

Volunteers will work on a voluntary basis for 58 days between 01.01.2026 and 30.12.2026. The activity dates will be determined together with the selected participants. Participants selected by our commission will be contacted via email.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation, food, and travel expenses of the volunteers will be covered by the project. Volunteers will stay in shared rooms in a historic building belonging to the host organization. A shared kitchen will be available for volunteers, and they will be able to prepare their own meals.

Training during the activity

Pre-departure training will be provided by supporter organizations. On-arrival training will be provided by hosting organization. Volunteers will participate in a preparatory training (online) before leaving for the destination and after arrival in an introductory training, aimed at familiarizing with the facility, organizational matters, volunteer tasks and dealing with potential crisis situations. Upon arrival, a contract between the volunteer and the organisation will be signed. This document specifies the conditions of the project as well as the rights and obligations of the volunteer.

Participant profile

The most important thing for us is the motivation of the volunteer. Therefore, when choosing a volunteer, we look for the following qualities: -Awareness of the ESC philosophy and conditions of volunteering -Being creative in developing new activities -Initiative in implementing new activities -Motivation to work in youth groups or associations -Motivation and flexibility to work within International Groups. Here is the English translation: In addition, we are looking for a volunteer who is open-minded, sociable, willing to face challenges, and able to take initiative to grow, learn, and develop both individually and within the community.
