You will collaborate with peers from different countries to explore practical ways of building more inclusive communities. Through workshops, teamwork, and community engagement, volunteers will contribute to initiatives focused on diversity, EU values, and social inclusion for displaced Ukrainian youth. Volunteers will work together to develop ideas, support community activities, and help document practices that will later become part of the Library of Sustainable Inclusion, a resource designed to help organizations across Europe strengthen inclusion efforts. If you are curious, open to learning, and motivated to make a positive impact, this experience invites you to be part of something meaningful.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The accommodation/facilities include: shared bedrooms with essential furniture & bedsheets etc.; 4 bathrooms with showers for common use; a huge outdoor space with hammocks and a barbecue area; a kitchen area and living room space suitable for meetings & chill evenings; an available 7-seater car for local trips and shopping; Dzhurovo village, a river, and nature in the surrounding area. The travel cost will be covered from your home town to the venue of the activity and back.

You will be supported by two facilitators and Synergy Bulgaria Team.
Participant profile
We are offering this opportunity to 16 participants legally residing in European Solidarity Corps Programme countries who do not require a visa to stay in Bulgaria for 30 days. This opportunity is perfect for you, if you are: - 18-30 years old (not older than 31 on the 10th of June);
- Enthusiastic about hands-on activities;
- Eager to take initiative and create opportunities for yourself and others;
- Ready to live in a rural environment in Bulgaria with basic conditions for 4 weeks;
- Ready to be challenged to align with people from different cultures and create together a joyful, supportive community;
- You have the idea of a personal project/initiative/learning goal.
