Description

Ostello Monte Barro is looking for two volunteers who will be involved in environmental education activities. Tasks: - assist in hostel maintenance (indoor and outdoor) and logistics; - check-in of the guests and administrative tasks; - room preparation and cleaning; - recycling and upcycling of materials for hostel use and decoration; - provide guests with information like hiking paths and local area; - assist in workshops for primary school students: facilitation and group management; - design and implement didactic workshops on art, environment education, creative recycling; - support in communication (social media, etc).

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Ostello Monte Barro will provide an apartment inside the hostel, shared with volunteers. The volunteers will live in a DOUBLE room. 💸A pocket money (6 euro per day) will be provided. 🥗 Volunteers are asked to adhere to VEGETERIAN or VEGAN diet and food products will be provided by hostel. The travel expenses will be refunded on the basis defined by the European Commission.

Training during the activity

Associazione No Borders will be your COORDINATING organization, leading you through the volunteering and answering practical questions. Volunteer will participate in the On Arrival Training organized by the Italian National Agency.
