🔷 Activity Details

Description

Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry is looking for 10 motivated international volunteers to join our short-term ESC Volunteering Team in Ankara, Türkiye! This project is designed for young people passionate about community health and highly interested in the world of dentistry. As a volunteer, you will work in a multicultural team to promote oral hygiene awareness, design public health campaigns, and create engaging educational content for social media or interactive workshops for youth. To support your volunteer actions, you will explore a modern university campus and experience dental workflows, 3D scanning, and simulation tech through hands-on peer-to-peer activities. It is a unique chance to make a real social impact, reduce healthcare barriers through solidarity, share your culture, and build lifelong connections with other peers in the healthcare field.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation: You will stay in shared student accommodation facilities provided by Ankara University. Food: All daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be fully provided and arranged by the host organization throughout the project. Additionally, cash pocket money will be given to the volunteers in accordance with official ESC rules. Transport: Local transit support for official volunteering and awareness activities will be managed by the hosts. An Info Pack about airport transfers and daily life in Ankara will be shared with selected participants before arrival.

To fully prepare you for your volunteering and awareness tasks, you will receive:

• An on-arrival orientation session to adapt to the city, campus, and your team.

• Basic language support and training to help you communicate with the local community during campaigns.

• Training on public communication, non-formal education methods, and digital content creation.
