More than a quarter of the adult population in Europe has experienced at least one mental disorder in the past year. Risk factors for premature death among young people โ high blood pressure, obesity, low fruit consumption โ are increasing across the continent. Inner Revolution is a direct response to that reality.
Douro Youth is organising Inner Revolution โ an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange taking place in Aldeia de S. Sebastiรฃo, Portugal, from 18 to 27 May 2026. The project brings together young people aged 18 to 30 from Italy, Romania, and Denmark to explore healthier lifestyles through practical and reflective activities.
What Is This Project About?
Building on the work of a previous mental health project, Inner Revolution raises awareness about the importance of healthy habits for wellbeing and happiness. Participants explore four key areas of health โ sport and physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and mental and emotional wellbeing โ gaining knowledge and tools to improve their daily habits and encourage healthier lifestyles in their own communities.
